Overview

The Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Torrent Power Limited and engaged in the business of generation of wind power. The company is a Special Purpose Vehicle, undertaking the implementation & operations of a 60MW wind power project. Project comprises of 30 WTGs with an individual capacity of 2MW each. Electricity generated from the project is being supplied to Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company Limited (GESCOM) which is a government of Karnataka undertaking, under a 20 year PPA which is further extendable by 5 years. The project was commissioned on March 28, 2018.

The company was incorporated as a subsidiary of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Power Private Limited on February 6, 2017 to implement 60MW wind power project in villages of Kalaburagi District, Karnataka initially. The Company was then acquired by Torrent Power Limited as a wholly owned subsidiary on February 12, 2018
